Most approaches focus on changing behavior. This work focuses on understanding it.
Every session is guided by the DIR Floortime model and grounded in developmental research about how children learn and connect through relationships. We follow your child’s interests and natural rhythms, using play as the foundation for trust, flexibility, and growth.
Instead of goals about compliance or correction, we look for signs of comfort, connection, and confidence. Sessions feel calm and authentic rather than clinical or pressured. Growth happens when a child feels safe and understood.

We support neurodivergent children ages four through ten, including autistic, ADHD, and twice exceptional learners.
We also welcome children who feel the world deeply, who notice everything, or who need extra time and safety to express themselves. Some children struggle with transitions, social situations, or perfectionism, while others simply need a space where they can be fully themselves.
Our approach is neuroaffirming and individualized. We adapt to your child, not the other way around.

Each fifty minute session follows a consistent rhythm that helps your child feel safe, curious, and engaged.
We begin with a short sensory warm up or movement activity to help your child settle in. From there, we follow their lead into play such as building, imagining, creating, or exploring. These moments become opportunities to support communication, problem solving, and confidence.
Sessions close with a calm transition and a short reflection on what supported your child’s comfort and connection that day. Parents receive written notes afterward in clear and compassionate language with ideas to continue the same support at home.
-
Eight weeks gives enough time for children to feel comfortable, for trust to grow, and for families to notice meaningful changes without feeling rushed.
At the end of the series, families receive a written reflection about their child’s progress along with suggestions for next steps. Some continue right away, while others take a break to integrate what they have learned at home before returning later.
-
We decide this together based on what helps your child feel most comfortable. Some children connect best when parents step out after the first few minutes, while others need to know you are nearby.
You will always stay informed through written reflections after each session, which explain what supported your child’s comfort, communication, and regulation that day.
-
Yes. Many families choose to continue after the first series once their child feels more comfortable and connected. Others transition into small social play groups or parent sessions created specifically for returning families.
These next steps are intentional and personalized, helping your child continue to grow while keeping the focus on joy, relationship, and trust.

That is completely okay. Every child has moments when things feel too big. This space is built for that.
If your child needs time, movement, or quiet before joining in, that becomes part of the process. These moments teach us what your child needs to feel safe again, which is often where the most meaningful progress begins.
-
Parents often say this is the first time someone truly understood both their child and them. You will begin to see what your child’s behavior is communicating, how to respond with calm and confidence, and how to bring more ease into daily life.
You will have practical ways to support regulation, connection, and comfort at home and will feel more equipped to help others understand your child too.
